Südtirol Jazz Festival Alto Adige

The well known International Jazz Festival „Südtirol Jazz Festival Alto Adige“ takes places for the 30th year. The traditional and at the same time modern music of the performing artists is as diverse as the stages on which the concerts are held. Open air settings provide spectacular backdrops such as mountain pastures, old farmhouses, medieval lanes and streets. The repertoire of the festival has something for everyone.
In this years' edition more than 250 musicians from 20 different countries will perform approx. 100 concerts in 55 different locations in 20 South Tyrolean municipalities during the ten days of festival.

Just like in the past years the concerts are grouped in different series such as “Jazz nights”, “Jazz & Wine”, “Jazz on the Mountains”, “Jazz and the Cities”, “Jazz & schools” or the new series “Jazz & social” which was developed and organized in cooperation with a home for elderly and a sheltered workshop.
